He seems to be the one that isn't talked about but should. The article said he's not a moderate but knows how to get things done with the help of the other side. I think that IS what the Republican party needs and doesn't have with the front runners. I'll say get him vs. Biden or O'Malley and lets see where this ends up.

Can we at least agree that this issue is solely and completely the result of the actions of the Republican party and that all of this is their responsibility?

SSG Michael Hartsfield, Hell yes it's their fault. I've never seen so many idiots, in one room, trying to out talk each other and get into the sticks and stones name calling game. It's an embarrassment and disgusting to the people they want to serve. They act like little kids at day school.

SGT (Join to see) So what can be done to bring back the civility in today's politics, especially within the GOP?

Thats a tough question SSG Michael Hartsfield. Anybody with enough money can throw their hat in the ring. The moderators need to beef up their rules in the debates. We need some mature candidates who feel like they know what our country really needs. It's embarrassing to me, for the younger people who are able to,vote and the upcoming younger voters to witness all of of the antics coming from the candidates. Our world is so different than it used to be, and that's a shame. Everything is personal bashing in todays debates. Especially coming from the GOP, is the worse bashing. In the first debate everyone was talking at the dame time so much, we changed channels. I would like to see someone in charge of each parties debates, who sit down with the candidates, and tells them there will be no personal bashing, and they have to answer questions about what or how they would improve our country's problems. It should be kept on track about their positions on our problems and not about someone's mistakes in the past. They can bring up all of that stuff on their campaign trails. There's no room for all of that in a debate.
