It's not often someone accuses a POTUS of engaging in traitorous acts, such as accusations by Bannon - all dutifully repeated by media outlets of all stripes. This accusation alone shows just how internecine the conflict between DT and his political enemies who have gone from mere political resistance to outright attempts to undermine the administration. Their intent being to destroy the Trumpster and take over the country in the elections of 2018 and beyond. Getting the Trumpster impeached along the way would not be rejected. It should be remembered tho, that the Trumpster was elected by the general public and has a tremendous support base in the country on his 'side'.

True, but "we" don't have a say in it. This is why "we" don't elect the president. The "system" has the electoral college (cuz they trust us sooooooo much...). And the "system" understands that a non-politician, ie; NOT ONE OF THEM - is in the White House. And Trump's continued low ratings from his own party bear this out. Just as the Bernie crew would not rally behind Hilary, the Rhino's likewise, have not rallied behind The Donald.

Now having said that, I also said many moons ago, that the Donald's first move should have been a kristlnacht to bring the GOP fully under his control. He must not have read my tweet. Being a non-pol, that is really the best and only chance he has/had.

Bannon was not a political enemy. And the President was not elected by the general public, which voted in favor of Clinton, but rather by the electoral college.

It was the transition from a Socialist NAZI Party to a Fascist one. With the help of the Army, the SS, Krupp and Thyssen, with their lawyer Prescott Bush (George HW's father) stopped Ernst Rohm from arming his 600,000 man SA. After that Socialists got to go to camp.
None of these accusations are new. General Smedley-Butler testified about Bush's activities with the Nazi's before Congress. The Guardian has maintained this position since the 1930s
