PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - That would not surprise me one bit. The USS North Carolina that is in Wilmington used to have a sight and sound spectacular where they would tell the story of her Battles and use LPG to fire the guns, the ship would be under Condition X-ray (red lights) and you would b sitting in bleachers off her port bow. during the story and the firing of the guns, if you looked to the bridge and at certain places on deck you could see people moving, illuminated by the red lights. BUT in accordance with OSHA and Fire Codes because of the hazards of the LPG everyone had to be off the ship. Those who perished from the Kamikaze hit and other deaths on board were still standing their watches.
