Ha!! You know it only a matter of time before some old SPC who was chaptered out of the Army see some dude wearing this at a Halloween party and starts screaming "Stolen Valor....right here....Stolen Valor" while recording it on his phone and posting it to YouTube!

Sir was in the Stan with some Marines that were jump qual'd. Not sure on the regs governing them.

SSG Warren Swan - if they were they were probably Force Recon. As a rule - line USMC units do not have airborne slots. The last USMC Airborne unit was in WW2 though

Yes, I have also served with a few Marines who had been through Airborne School at Benning, but like SSG Swann said, not sure of the regs governing the actual wear of the wings for USMC personnel.
