BTW just my two cents worth (maybe less) you are tackling a daunting subject and one some NGOs that I have spoken with tie to the high rate of veteran suicide (22 a day). It is not easy joining the job market. When I interviewed for my current employer I had been unemployed for six month and this was only my second interview. They stated at the end of my interview that I was not qualified for the job but they hired me into a generic PM position anyways. USAA said I was not even qualified to be a gate guard. Now after 11 years of a highly successful run with a large A&E firm (made VP) I again find myself challenged with getting a job. Again I am sending out resumes tailored to each individual job that I feel I am qualified for. No responses. So I have my SDVOSB up and running and a good network that I am sure I can get a job when I lose this one but it is still a tough road.

Thanks so much to those of you who have responded--would love to have as many as possible participate. Feel free to share with other vets who successfully transitioned to civilian employment.
