The problem with sanctuary cities being forced to comply with Federal laws would be a problem. Undocumented individuals would be afraid to report serious crimes perpetrated by both native born and other undocumented criminals. In this way society is the loser because criminals would be free to take advantage of undocumented workers and their neighbors without fear of possible consequences.

LTC David Brown - My point is that if they cannot report crimes without repercussions, others will be able to kill, rape, and loot because no one who is undocumented will want to report crimes to the authorities, even if those crimes are committed against them or others in the community at large.
