I worked a number of years in Dutch Harbor for a processing plant and I know first hand that the seasons are shorter and catches are smaller and people there are worried about the future of the industry. Harder to find the crab and fish and the size and quality are being affected. Global warming as well as over fishing some areas all play a part. Pollution of the oceans is a BIG factor as well. There is no single cause nor is there one single answer. Complex issue

Issue could be the over fishing by countries that don't regulate the quantiles caught. Just because the US follows rules doesn't mean all countries do.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel the climate issue is threatening the world on many fronts, now naming food supply. I love the fake crab.
