RallyPoint, please tell me that the story is true ? If it is true, then this will be the second mistake she's done where a staffer could have quality-controlled what she has put out verbally and online.
Recently, I had to debate people that were saying that I was bullying crazy Cortez on her climate change fanaticism. It's funny to see how there are big brother's here on rally point who think I am being a bully to a bully!
She didn't have a staffer check on this one either! President Roosevelt's had passed away in 1945 and this amendment was passed in 1947. Harry Truman, President Roosevelt successor a very well skilled Democrat who earned respect from everybody, was in office and beat Dewey in 1948 and stayed until early 1953! Like I said another post, crazy Cortez brings it onto herself. Tienes que conocer Tu trabajo y tambien La Historia De Los Estados unidos no solamente socialismo!
Translated, it means you need to learn your job and learn the United States history not just socialism!
Her Green New Deal warning order was shot down in the Senate. She should have had the research and development (also known as the Rand Corporation) go over her suggestions before putting out laughable suggestions to mitigate climate change and change civilization. Today, I posted on Rally Point how China and other countries are going off the scale with CO2 increase while the United States is lowering its CO2 so the green New Deal would be a total freaking waste of time if China is building coal-fired power plants and other countries like North Korea and India continue to also spew out CO2. If we took our whole gross domestic product and put it into climate change mitigation, it would be in the toilet because the rest of the world was polluting way more than the USA going NetZero. March has not been a good month for congresswoman Ocasio Cortez.

Thank you for your Post LTC (Join to see) regarding "Occasionally Cortex" (to borrow a name from TSgt David L. (Thank you David). It amazes me that this woman attended and graduated from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences, with a BA degree, Cum Laude! and she fails to understand the History of the United States and does not have a clue concerning anything to do with the ramifications of the "New Green Deal" she professes... This young woman has turned Congress upside down and backward in my opinion... and seemingly is always opening her mouth to put her foot into it... Yet our Liberal friends have flocked to her like ants on a chocolate cookie!!! I apologize in advance if I have offended anyone by my view, but it does get under my skin!!! BTW I was a Democrat until my 40s and then began to see the light!!!

CPT (Join to see) - All you said maybe true, but unless you satisfied your constituents you won’t be around long, I understand AOC’s district in the Bronx isn’t impressed. A first act of harassing the person who welds the power where your work isn’t wise. Creating a high profile before you know the ropes sets you up for a fall every time you miss a step. I suspect she is either narcissistic or manic depressive. Something clearly isn’t right.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher,
who's hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama being elected by a mass of media led, brainless liberals to be our president.
The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Obama is a 'Post Turtle'".
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road on you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle".
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, and he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with".
