Okay. This guy is an idiot. Sure, he's smart. Hell, he invented the World Wide Web. But being smart and having common sense are vastly different things. Indeed, some of the "smartest" people have the least common sense. Let's look at examples...

He complains about advertising. WTF? Everything has its price. Sure, I'd love to have free access to the Internet. Who wouldn't? But, who's going to pay for it? The government? (Excuse me while I roll around on the floor laughing for a while. There is a special kind of idiot ideologue who thinks the government should simply print money and pay for everything)

Social networks are ignoring their responsibility to the truth? What responsibility? The same one that journalists have? Or politicians? Or shills at a carnival sideshow? (Here I go again. I really crack myself up)

Finally, he saves the best joke for last: "Online privacy is a 'human right' that’s being trampled." Do I really have to say it? Don't worry. I won't. I'll give myself a heart attack from laughter if I do.

Bottom line: This guy is an idiot.
