Tough one here. I'm sharing this in hopes of getting some other opinions. I agree that the world would be a far better place if the people, in it, would live by the Nazarene's 2nd commandment. And follow the examples that He set. This article sends me mixed messages. Near the end the Author starts a paragraph with the words "Evil preaches", not going to quote the whole thing because you are capable of reading it for yourself. The Editors, maybe with the Author's input, maybe not, then end the piece, with an enhanced quote that does the very thing the notated paragraph talks against. There's a couple of other places that either the Author or Editors caused me to shake my head. What do you think about it?

I'm more concerned with the evangelical right adopting the President as their new Messiah/Christ figure... To use your theology to blanket a politician from accountability is reprehensible, and merely a continuation of personal politics by other means.

For example, they use the following bible passage as "proof" that Trump must be supported without thought, logic or reason:
Romans 13:1-2 reads: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.”

SFC Michael Hasbun -Taken out of context. "But then that raises the question of all the opposition to Barack Obama when he was president." The Verses used support the Roosevelt quote. not Your Idea of Evangelicals.

We are a nation of multicultural people. I spent 20 years in service to this country in defense to protect the rights and freedoms of religion and practices of the people. As long as they co-exist with each other and not force their Ideals on me or anyone else. Here in lies the problem. I like many of us when faced with this will resist. Some more violently then others. Whats funny is these groups attack the weak with groups instead of individuals. They don't attack well armed groups or individuals that are capable of fighting back. Be prepared to protect yourselves and save yourselves from physical harm.
