When I was on the Faculty of Defense Systems Management College and teaching Software Acquisition; I would inform my classes that Mathematical Models are nothing more then INFERENTIAL attempts to abstractly simulate a particular system. There are two main types: Deterministic Models which will always produce the same output from a given starting condition or initial state. The second is a Probabilistic model which simulates a distribution of possible outcomes with a computed probability of how likely each event is to occur. In both cases these models are totally dependent upon the ASSUMPTIONS made in their construction. Specifically, all modeling involves the assumption of absolute linearity between discreet variables. Said another way; it means that a change on one variable results in a corresponding change in an associated variable in which an assumed linear relationship is modeled to exist. Accordingly, if the assumed linearity between variables is faulty; then the models results are suspect. This is an immutable fact.

Sgt Wayne Wood - LOL - sorry Wayne. I refuse to go through life taking to people using monosyllabic phraseology. Accordingly, I always assume that Liberals have a 12th Grade reading comprehension level. But to be fair - here is a visual aid that depicts what I said above.

Lol... 12th Grade? You're still being generous. I believe the average is/was 6th grade. But pictures are nice, they can reproduce them with their crayons.

LTC Orlando Illi, "Said another way; it means that..." GIGO.
Garbage in, garbage out.
None of the climate alarmists' predictions have come true because they are based upon ideology rather than verified data.
