APOD: 2025 January 13 – Comet ATLAS Before Sunrise

Good afternoon, Rallypoint, and welcome to the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) for January 13, 2025.
Given its proximity to the Sun, the first comet of 2025 is not as visible as Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was last fall. But it is still up there. It was cloudy in the Carolina Piedmont this morning, but it has cleared off now. I will take a peek after sunset tonight and see what there is to see. Today's APOD was captured near Tornaľa, Slovakia.

Its An Exact Replica Of Several Pieces Of Gold Items Found In
The Jungles Of Columbia ~~ Dating Back To Pre-Colombian Times.
And The Scientists Thought Exactly What We Did ~ "It Looks Like An
Air Craft Or Space Shuttle". ~ They Checked Out The Design And
It Was Aerodynamically Correct, So They Constructed The Item Much
Larger And Out Of Lighter Material, Put 4 Wheels Under It With An Internal
Engine Then Added A Propeller To The Nose ~~ It Took Off The Ground Like
A Rocket, Flew Around In The Air And Then Was Landed On The Ground With
No Issues What-So-Ever. ~~ NOW The Theory Is ~ And It Sounds Solid To Me ~
At Some Point Throughout Earths History, Possibly Millions Of Years Ago, An Entirely Different Group Of Beings Were Here On Earth With Far More Intelligence And Skills Than We Even Have Now; And There's An Excellent Chance They Designed And Possibly Used Flying Craft, Just Like The One Found In The Jungles Of Columbia. ~ W E L L Pucker-Up And Kiss Mine ~ That's Pretty Interesting And Just Plain COOL As All "L".

Maj William W. 'Bill' Price: I am in Florida for a few months and this morning I got up around 5am, looked out at the sky from my Lanai and there was a crystal clear sky with an awesome FULL MOON... There was one bright object below the moon and another to the upper left of the moon... I presumed that the one on the upper left of the moon was Jupiter and the one below the moon planet Mars, but I have no telescope to discern much of anything... for all I know, the one below the moon, could have been the Comet...!!! Keep them coming Bill... Love to see anything beyond our Earth, even UFOs, which I am sure are out there! In my view we are being surveilled and they may very well be here hidden in the depths of Earth's Oceans...
