I don't like foreign companies owning US firms, but in this case it's Japan. Japan has a history of operating profitably and paying employees well. Their US inspired process of Kaizen is how they operate. Lean operations lead to profitable business.
Now, if it were China, I'd be completely against it. But if anyone can make this company competitive, it will be Japan.

Shouldn't or politicians, and bureaucrats enact laws, and policies that allow American companies to be competitive? By "enacting laws, and policies"... I mean get out of the way.

Corporations exist to create periodically, or provide services that will generate profits for their shareholders. So long as our politicians, and bureaucrats make it unprofitable to operate in the US, we SHOULD expect more of the same.

Until, and unless our politicians, and bureaucrats get serious about allowing businesses to operate profitably here in the US, we should only expect more of the same.
