Getting really tired of this whole liberal vs conservative bullshit. What the hell is wrong with all of you people, so what you guys don't see ye to eye on everything. Our country was built on people with differing ideas coming together for a common goal. But now it's all us. vs them, and frankly you are all wrong. Can't you people set aside your differences for once and stop trying blame each other for everything that goes wrong in this country. How about instead of arguing ad blaming each other all the time, talk to each other, find out where you agree and work from there. This attitude so called liberals and conservatives have is childish and accomplishes nothing. Get over it or watch the country you love burn.

Cpl Tom Surdi - Okay, do you know what the "Left" is and what their agenda is? There is nothing moderate in either. You really need to find out...

Cpl Tom Surdi - There is no such thing as the "FAR Left" or the "Liberal Left". Let's say what we mean and mean what we say. The Left is the ideology of socialism (Fascists, Nazis, and Communists are all instances of Leftist ideology). "Liberal" has been appropriated by the Left because it sounds nice. Classically, "liberal" is the love of liberty or the pursuit of liberty, which is antithetical to the ideology of the Left. Thus, "Liberal Left" is an oxymoron. "FAR Left" is another attempt to hide the true meaning and intention of the Left

Cpl Tom Surdi - The article is pretty clear, those of us conservatives in blue states or liberals in red states feel it very clear. $15 dollar minimum wage in rural America is very destructive, not so much in Seattle. It's not left vs right it's one city that controls the entire state and pays no attention to our geographical areas. There is no representation for the minorities. I'm stuck no matter what I say because of what Seattle dictates, furthermore anything they want to pass without going through the legislature they put out for policitcal democratic referendum and get it passed with a 50% vote comprised completely of seattlietes. When a state government rules by fiat rather than compromise it's time for a radical change.

California which try's to hold itself as an example before the rest of the country. Is probably one of the most racist and racially segregated states I have ever visited.....good luck on succession there with that cauldron of hate. If they ever managed to split off (which they won't) they would probably face an internal civil war for a while and then split into smaller pieces which would be unsustainable to remain independent from the U.S. Then they would be on their knees begging the United States to clean up the mess they created with a huge financial bailout. It is entertaining how many dupes haven't figured this out and think California can split off from the United States. Very superficial and shallow thinking. Also, completely ignorant of the lesson Texas learned from it's brief independence and somewhat reluctant entry into the Civil War.

West Virginia did it and after the Civil War they didn't want to go back. Many states don't have enough population to be states, perhaps some could be merged
