Arkansas Students to Begin Receiving in-School Gun Safety Training

It’s about time. When I was in a youth organization, the Allied Nautical Cadets, I was able to take an NRA gun safety course using .22 rifles.
My sons were in the Scouts and were able to complete the merit badge course for firearms safety and were able to shoot skeet and .22’s at summer scout camp.
They also had to learn firearm safety from me and they both have the hunter safety courses.
I believe it is imperative to give firearms safety courses to youth that are interested.
