It looks like the operational tempo is picking up world-wide. Funding and deployment strategies to include National Guard combat assets will have to change to sustain it.

Indeed Colonel, the operational tempo in both hemispheres has increased and the need for additional sustainment commands with additional loads of combat assets will become a necessity. Budgets and resources to sustain a global presence must be kept on the ready, to include Guard and Reserves.

Thanks for the post MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. Still wondering about 101st CAB. They were notified and put on strip alert back in feb, then lowered to 24hr standby. Wondering if USAF C-5 and C-17 are tasked with shipping supplies to poland to then cross in to Ukraine and therefore that can't simultaneously lift the 101st.
