There certainly are adjacent areas that Arlington National Cometary could expand into to keep the cemetery contiguous SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
Here is a cropped map of the area which shows Columbia Pike and the intersection with Washington BLVD near the Pentagon. The area east of the USAF =memorial and north of the Pentagon seem to be where they ware focusing on. Specifically the Service Complex area north of the Columbia Park bowleg. I expect the plan would call removing that bowleg and straitening out Columbia Pike east of the Navy Annex.

As long as they build access ways if they go to the other side of the highway is fine with me. As far as me. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, water to water. Dump my Ashes in the Columbia River let me flow to the Pacific Ocean and I'm Home.

So what happened to using the land surrounding Henderson Hall or is that the land they're talking about? I remember from when I was stationed at Myer they were talking about using the land there tearing down the annexes and doing burials there.
