I don't really see the issue with this. The other branches already had a recruiting ribbon. Don't worry though. I don't think you will get it awarded to you.

The properly "Wiping Butt" ribbon could be a game changer. Having worked briefly in ship's laundry, there are some guys out there, that could use a lesson or two. I mean really, y'all got some drawers out there that have "bacon strips" from the Fruit-o-the-Loom tag to the fly opening. . . . and i"m not talking little bacon strips, I'm talking you might need a putty knife to scrape that crap off.

CPT (Join to see) - I never had a ribbon after AIT, it wasn't till the OSR and ASR came out that I had any. My unit in Germany gave you paper or time off if you did good.
