A new Bonneville Salt Flats in the making, of course some think we don't need to worry about it.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel What do you expect Utah to do about it. They have already invested a billion dollars in mitigation funds... Other than pray for rain... Scientists say the West is as dry as it's been in 1,200 years!

Cutting agricultural and other outdoor water use by a third to half through a combination of voluntary conservation measures and policy changes would allow the lake to refill enough to support the region's economy, ecology and quality of life. Of course, we would also need to stop the consumption of food that the people enjoy... Perhaps a skinnier population would result in more Water in the lake! Good luck on that! LOL

This is why I don't watch and read the news anymore. If you look at the statics over the past hundreds of thousands of years, climate & land has always been changing, things are always going extinct, reflect back over the entire history of the documented weather patterns and land changes..it never stays the same. The Dead Sea used to be a Luxury Resort to where Cleopatra was wanting own the rights to the lands around the Dead Sea. Australia used to be part of the Asian continent, the tectonic plates are consistently movie, causing heat & friction. I'm just waiting for the North American continent to run over California and Yellowstone blow off most of the western US
