There are too many political extremist in our nation that believe compromise with the
other side is treason. The last time I saw our nation this divided was during the Vietnam
war in the late 1960's and early 70's. I have lived through this violence before. President
John F. Kennedy killed in Dallas in 1963. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. killed in Memphis in
1968. Robert F. Kennedy killed in California after winning the democratic primary in 1968.
These were the well known people who were killed among many more less known deaths
in the 1960's. I have already heard the talking heads on TV bring up gun control. The gun
is the tool. The real problem is the person who is the killer.
