MSG Tom Earley - Perhaps. I'm glad they're allowing them to serve until such time.

I wonder what happens when they get called up for federal duty? They cannot serve under Title 10.

The only part of Title 10 that has referenced transgender people that I can find is Section 1074, which just outlines what type of medical care service members are eligible for. What section of Title 10 United States Code are you referring to Col Joseph Lenertz? I'd like to review it myself.

That’s not how it works.

That's how it worked for me in NY's guard.

No it isn’t. If you are currently serving and are transgender, you either enlisted during a time when the ban was not in place or you were not truthful about your enlistment. The governor doesn’t get a single vote or lick of input into MEPs enlistments and who qualifies or doesn’t. As I said before, that’s not how it works. Marijuana is legal in MA and a lot of other states, if you show up and take a urinalysis which shows THC, do you get in? SPC Angela Burnham
