Considering the amount of other information Rush makes up, I see no reason to take him seriously now. He says what his audience wants to hear because it makes him money.

SSG(P) (Join to see) - Burt I have backed it up. I stated Rush has lied, and many times. I was challenged to provide evidence for that assertion of even one time he lied, which I did in the form of a politifact article. I was then told that the evidence I provided was false and with that claim a new positive assertion was on the table.
.
I provided evidence for the assertion and it was claimed the evidence of the assertion was false. Now it is up to the claimant to of that to show that my evidence it not validi and if they do so the burden of proof would shift back to me.
As for you last statement about me dismissing Rush because he's Rush is a pair point. Let me give you an example from the article on why I don't him in this case.
"There’s no evidence. Folks, there isn’t any evidence of anything, except the Obama administration and its holdovers in the deep state tried to sabotage the duly elected president of the United States."
Ironically evough there is evidence that members of the Trump campaign talking with the Russians and Trump's own words encouraging the Russians to go after his political opponent. Currently we have the appearance of impropriety that is tied to the Trump campaign.
Where there isn't any evidence anywhere is that holdovers leaked anything or that if they did Obama is tied to it in any way that is improper. He just cut that part from whole cloth and I can't find any support for it in his article. The closest he did was try and show that at some point Obama said their was no voter fraud which is a non sequitur because no one is claiming the Russian contact resulted in voter fraud. Rush either doesn't understand the claims against Trump, what voter fraud is, he is trying to mislead or didn't think it through, etc.
So let's take a look at things on the table.
Does anyone dispute that Sessions and some of Trump's nominees talked to the Russians during the election? Is that an Obama conspiracy?
Does anyone dispute that Sessions denied any such contact during his confirmation hearings? Is that an Obama conspiracy?
Does anyone doubt that Trump egged on the Russians to hack his political opponent? Is that an Obama conspiracy?

Did you read the whole referenced article? If you did, you would know that the point Rush is making is that it's NOT about Sessions. It is about Obama and his cronies mounting a very open insurgency to cripple the Trump administration. Rush notes that the left/Democrats claim that Obama has all this evidence. Rush also notes that Obama himself said there is no evidence of Russian tampering. Obama himself said it. If there was something there, Obama should have acted on it before now. But there isn't. This is about Obama not letting go, and trying to destroy the duly elected POTUS.
There is also very ample evidence of this insurgency in the very public Media. CNN and other Progressive news outlets are celebrating the fact that Obama and now Valerie Jarrett are working together to destroy President Trump. They are making no secret of it. They are openly celebrating sedition and conspiracy to commit treason. All of this is not in dispute. But if it is delivered by someone you don't like, it can't be true, right?

As for this, "All of this is not in dispute." Well yes, actually it is in dispute.

I think the issue is how did this information come to surface? It appears that the Obama Administration was orchestrating a surveillance program on the Trump campaign team. Its too convenient that information is readily available from the same administration that required years of meticiluous study of a oil pipeline, which is commonplace throughout America and then effortlessly "leaked" to the media from patriots that work in the government. So, the problem statement needs to be re-written: Was the Obama Administration conducting a surveillance program upon a rival political campaign team?

Sir, information about contact between the Trump campaign and Russian elements was picked up through routine surveillance of... the Russians. Not only U.S. intelligence, but foreign intelligence agencies observed multiple contacts in person and by phone during the campaign. This information was highlighted during the campaign, attributed to U.S. and foreign intelligence sources, and was presented to leaders in the Congress; two Republican leaders (Mitch McConnell was identified by name) refused to allow the information to be presented to the American people in a bi-partisan fashion.
Their actions led to the current mess, where there is a great deal of evidence that the Republican Party and the Trump campaign benefitted from the efforts of Russian elements to discredit the Democratic campaign of not just Hillary Clinton, but also down-ballot races that broke toward the Republican candidates at the end.

SSG (Join to see) - Do you know anyone whose vote was influenced by the Russians? Or, is this a developing storyline for the Democrats? And how can you state whose survaillence it was? Mr. Obama had Merkel under surveillance so I don't think its a stretch for a government entity to be conducting surveliiance on Americans and then leak that to the media.

It's all relative now...John Kerry once said "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." This is scary and is something we have never seen.
