Since the "two weeks of lockdown to flatten the curve" started in mid March, I have read Catton's three volume Centennial Civil War History and Foote's three volume Civil War, A Narrative. It is true Meade screwed the pooch after Gettysburg, but the chance McClellan had at Antietam became a tragedy when he bungled it. That war could have ended two and half years earlier. Lee's destruction could have happened so easily. Too sad.
