Bergdahl Lawyers: Trump Attacks Damage Chances of Fair Trial

Trump says something I agree with CPT (Join to see)! Bergdahl is no hero, his parents are Taliban sympathizers so he deserves whatever the military gives him. Obama should suffer the same fate as Bergdahl for having the audacity to walk arm in arm with Berhdahl's parents at the Whitehouse. It looked like he was walking with a member of the Taliban!

I call BS! A military Courts Martial is nothing like a civilian trial. Our proceedings are not affected the way a jury might be influenced by the media. Bergdahl, if convicted, will also receive an automatic review by a higher JAG office of his conviction. This is what happens when civilian lawyers try to defend at a military court.

Lawyers trying a classic distraction tactic. Trump was not in the chain of command when this happened. He was not in the chain of command when we was released, when the investigation was conducted not is he in the chain of command today. There is a chance right now he could be in the future but even if that happens that is not proof he is impacting a fair trial.

Obama said (as did Rice and others) that Bergdahl served with "honor and distinction". He traded 5 taliban leaders for him so he is out there in the breeze on this one. Obama had his parents at the white house for a photo op knowing full well an investigation about Bergdahl was already underway. Obama actually has interfered with a fair investigation and by his actions has attempted to sway the outcome with people in his chain of command. If you are looking for someone that has and is interfering with a fair investigation you needn't look any further than 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
