I looked at the underlaying poll and don't doubt the accuracy of it (538 rates ABC News/Washington Posts polls as A+ in reliability), but did chuckle at the partisan way the numbers are presented.
When they've written articles about other polls they've conducted, things like "57% think Trump should be investigated" were presented as "A clear majority of American voters believe..." while in here when it talks about those believing the "Weaponization inquiry" is legitimate was presented as "a tepid 57 percent think it’s a legitimate investigation".
The study is rife with other examples.
How about for once our media overlords just report the news instead of editorializing it for the partisan viewers/readers?

Starting with Walter Cronkite control the media by what they show and how they show it. The mass don't know what is going on behind the scenes of these news shows.

The problem with polls is they are very small samples that are easily manipulated. Honestly I can write a poll to get my desired answers. Did you know most polls don't include military members - they are purposely excluded. Most polls nationwide include less than 1200 people. Statistics don't lie but statisticians do.

Agree - which is why people should always check the reliability of the polls and how they were conducted (NEVER trust an internet poll).
If you have a polling company that has a history of conducting partisan skewing to the results, toss it out.
Even though there are companies that have partisan editorializing, the polling they do is historically unbiased - mainly because the partisans aren't conducting the polling and are only getting the results (such as the above poll).

Even the non partisan polling companies have problems and it stems from the questions themselves. Often teh question you see on news are not the qurestions as asked.
