Why, oh why, are we giving foreign companies control over defense production?

I don't give a flying fig that the UK is one of our closest allies. They are foreign. And no foreign power should have ANY say over who has to do what to fulfill our defense needs.

And anyone who thinks different, quite frankly, is not only wrong, but either doesn't give a damn about our sovereignty or wants to destroy it. There is no middle ground on that.

Nothing like proposals to weaken the United States Military Forces and give questionable foreign organizations (funded by the Democrats) power over our Military. It sounds very much like treason to Me !

Maybe I'm mistaken, but weren't our two of our first seven wars against the Brits?

Maj John Bell Yeah, but that was DECADES ago. Water under the bridge. We have close relations with Germany and Japan these days, too (although not as close as the UK). Plus France (who we fought during colonial days and during expansion of the nation), Mexico (who we fought multiple times). Not to mention the full integration of the Southern States after their rebellion. Even Poland - the host nation for the Warsaw Pact - is a decades old ally in NATO (along with almost all of the former pact over the years).
It's almost like the best way to be in the "in" crowd with us is to go to war.

Under control of foreign people. I don't think so. Though it has been that way off and on for the past thirty years.
