But then you burst into their home unannounced so they shot at police they shot back an slaughter someone in bed then charge them with attempted murder. Oh yeah they were black people protecting their home.

LTC Eugene Chu - We always executed warrants when people were asleep as their are few criminals hard enough to wake up in an instant and be ready to actively resist.

LTC Eugene Chu - Credibility is in the ear of the listener. My old partner was told that confidentially and he shared that information with me. My partner is absolutely honest. But there is always the possibility that the detective he spoke with could have been "stretching the truth" a bit. It will most likely all come out in the wash. The Taylor incident is about as far as you can get from the murder in Minneapolis.

MSGT Michael Bischoff-
I was always colorblind and most of the police officers with whom I served also didn't care what color the offender was. Don't forget that the police kill a lot more white folks than black. For instance, this year (2020) 228 offenders have been killed by law enforcement. Of that number, 31 were black which works out to be 13.5% of those killed. The black population in the US is ~ 12.9% of the total. The tow percentages seem pretty much in line don't you think?

2nd Amendment is for all US citizens, but lingering issues of cultural bias against minority gun owners still exist along with legal right to carry arms
