‘Blood all over,’ boy, 11, rescues girl amid dog attack in Ottawa County

Dominic, age 11, said he doesn’t recall considering what to do before he sprang into action to save a 9 yr old friend from a pit bull attack. “I pulled him off of her, and then she was able to get away. Then, he started to bite me.” Dominic had to have 21 stitches for wounds from the dog bites while Allison had to have over 100. Residents of the mobile home park said the Pit was often loose and they had made many reports about it to the Park, but nothing was done about it.
