'Bomb cyclone' strikes: 550,000 still powerless from fierce winds

Wind can be really rough. I lwas stationed on Adak, Alaska for 2 plus years. It is called the birthplace of the winds for a reason.

The wind did get pretty rough in Massachusetts, trees down, branches some loss of power in some areas. Both My wife and also My oldest son had falling tree branches hit their vehicles on the way home from work today. At least there was no damage to either vehicle and neither was hurt.
