Every administration deports people. That is why we have ICE and the Border Patrol and related agencies. I think I remember reading the Obama Administration has deported about 1.2 million people from 2012-2015. The numbers have shrunk over the years but folks are still being deported.
You can classify 300,000 people per year as "mass" deportation if you like but deportation are deportations. If you are here illegally, you might expect you would be deported. Most countries to enforce their immigration laws or why have them?
The Boston Globe is in a dying industry and their best days are surely behind them. They only hasten their demise pulling stunts like this. Editorials on the front page and running against candidates instead of reporting the news.

Tracking Obama’s deportation numbers
Is Barack Obama the deporter in chief or the champion in chief when it comes to immigration?

The numbers have grown, not shrunk. Immigration attorneys like me refer to Obama as the Deporter in Chief because he has more than doubled Bush's deportation, which was the previous highest.

LTC (Join to see) - Major; Are you trying to tell me that people like 'Rush Glenn Bill Hannity-Coulter' are "fudging" when they say that "**T*H*E** **T*R*U*T*H**" is that President Obama isn't deporting illegal aliens?

I don't think he would do anything he says, I think he is a Snake Oil Salesman, a Con Artist but if he were to do everything he says he would he would be the worst Fascist since Mussolini.

If it contains any exaggeration, it is too much. Exaggerating to make your point, kind of means you can't make your point legitimately, doesn't it?

Maj John Bell - Major; Good HEAVENS!!! Are you casting aspersions on the Bush Administration and its "factually correct" reasons for invading and conquering Iraq?

COL Ted Mc - That was not my intent, but if the facts bear out your assertion, I'll stand by the aspersions.
I will probably never know if the Bush Administration believed they were acting on good intel. Or if they falsified the intel to enter a war they were determined to wage. One is a mistake, the other a lie. To quote my Dad "To err is human, to forgive divine, but John if you lie to me, YOUR ASS IS MINE".
