Sounds like the Army in July 2003 when they picked the ACU uniform. What were they smoking then since there's hardly any rock quarries in Afghanistan and Iraq but that was the uniform they chose instead of sticking with the BDU or getting license from the Marine Corps for there to digital camouflage styles. Every time we get a new uniform it's more expensive and it can't handle regular wear and tear. We used to do combat PT in my unit that would be stuff like running under a Humvee with a five gallon water can running up over barriers getting on the ground low crawling do me doing all kinds of crazy stuff that are Commander devised us to do and we realize that the btu held up much better than the ACU. This is not surprising but I'm surprised it still happening and 2017. Not as bad as the junk Strike Fighter being 165 billion dollars over budget and still underpowered but it's the principle.
