Yes, it is unbelievably stupid. But then whose fault is it really?
It is the general fault of society. We have, what, two generations that have been raised and taught to believe that 'guns' are bad, it is the gun's fault, and all the other nonsense that is commonly attributed to the anti-gun crowd and the extremist political left. The issue with the extremist political right is a completely different story.

There in is the issue a battle between education and disinformation (and propaganda).

It's her fault, she was a complete moron, now society has pushed her to be that stupid, yes, but the fault lies entirely with her for pulling the trigger.
