This isn't much remembered now...there are other sites in it, though this one ismoretty decent, I've seen YouTube videos on it also...I entirely understand the article, however, I just figured idmsend this for some perspective...I'd always thought this'd make a great WW2 flick, you know?

Brazilian Expeditionary Force - Wikipedia
The Brazilian Expeditionary Force or BEF (Portuguese: Força Expedicionária Brasileira; FEB) consisted of about 25,700 men arranged by the army and air force to fight alongside the Allied forces in the Mediterranean Theatre of World War II. This air–land force consisted of (replacements included): a complete Infantry Division, a Liaison flight, and a Fighter squadron.[1]

Interesting article PO1 Tony Holland . Navies are indeed shaped by the nations that fund them, their peer competitors and potential foes, and their geostrategic place in the world. The Brazilian Navy has a coveted place geostrategically and they should invest the national treasure placed with them well.
