Hmmm....I'm thinking that this is, at best, a side show.
What Bim Adewunmi is trying to do is draw a parallel between the fact that all of Harvey Weinstein's victims (so far, anyway) are white with the fact that fewer black women have starring roles in Hollywood.
As the saying goes, though, correlation does not imply causation.
Despite what Ms. Adewunmi is saying, there are a whole heck of a lot more black actresses (and actors) today than ever before. Whoopi Goldberg, Halle Berry, and Nichelle Nichols to name a few. Tessa Thompson has a major starring role in the upcoming Thor movie.
This is not to say there isn't a disparity...because there is. But great strides have been made on this subject just in my lifetime. But breaking into the big leagues on the big screen is exceptionally difficult no matter who you are, so the challenges here are even greater, and to be more appreciated when it happens.
One can see we're moving in the right direction just by the changes that have been undergone in television and other major black actor roles. We're getting there...though I hesitate to use the amount of sexual harassment as a quantifiable marker of achieving that goal. Nobody deserves that any more than any other form of harassment/assault.

No matter the issue these days, it is always about race or it soon will be. This woman is nuts...this article ranks the same. The statements this nut case makes are lunacy. To say he did not sexually harass black women is racist, give me a break. It probably never occurred to her that maybe he just does not prefer to have sex with black women...maybe, in this case, it is a good thing for these women, but it is not racist.

Still laughing about Cosby. 79 of 80 wouldn't testify and the last one was a stalemate
