I usually wait until the last week before Christmas. Get in, get it, get out. If for some reason the "it" is sold out, make a beeline for the gift cards.

MCPO Mark Durland I spent many a holiday season working for minimum wage just to watch last minute shoppers. Christmas Eve is the best because true panic sets in. My favorite place of employ for this was Bath and Body. Another great place to watch the madness is in a liquor store. I worked the wine section mostly there and people would come in on scavenger hunts. During the lull, I would read the official description. Dark Cherry with oak, granite mid palet, and a dirty finish. (Did someone spill the Dr Pepper or drop a pencil in the barrel?)
