This raises an interesting question. It has oft been argued that all legislation should include a sunset provision so that it expires after a reasonable time unless renewed. This would force lawmakers to review acts in light of then prevailing circumstances. Generally, these provisions have been tied to a period of time. How about tying gun control laws to a test? What specific issue are you trying to remedy with this legislation? How is it objectively measured? If if fails to produce the desired result, void it. Just a thought...

The gang bangers will continue to kill and get banned guns or magazines. He like all other politicians want to ignore the root cause of most violence in the country, the drug epidemic.
