Thanks for sharing. As a former member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) I don't advocate any non professional keeping an exotic animal as a pet.

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law rescue cats and dogs from the streets of Quito, Ecuador. Presently, they care for 24 or 25 cats and six or seven dogs. (They've recently placed two of their dogs in adoptive homes.)
