Sounds like a control surface problem. I always liked the Snowbirds better then the Thunderbirds or Blue Angles. RIP.

I saw them perform at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati in the early eighties, Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen. I enjoyed them immensely. They flew more planes and they flew more slowly.
Back then, their first approach was what seemed like tree level and all of the planes had their landing lights on. I swear it looked like something out of ET!

LTC Stephen C. Brought an FB-111 to Trenton RCAFB two years in a row in late 70s and saw them perform, they are awesome!

I had seen the Canadian snowbird's perform at Westover AFB, MA and it certainly was an outstanding aerial demonstration show. Some of us from the 3245th Security Police Squadron Hanscom AFB, MA went there to assist the Security Police from Westover with crowd control on the two day air show.
