When and if they knock on my door, my answer is "None of your damn business!" just before I slam the door.

It’s a HIPPA violation for someone to ask you if you want the vaccine? Hmm, not too sure about that.
But again, why be rude? Just say ‘no thanks’, and go back to your Odouls.
Additionally, all the folks here spouting about Hippa violations really need to read up on what is/isn’t an actual HIPPA violation.

Is It a HIPAA Violation to Ask Someone's COVID-19 Vaccination Status?
Businesses that ask you about your COVID-19 vaccination status before allowing you entry are not violating HIPAA.

Having spent meany years, (more years than some of the younger folks here have been alive), in various aspects of the Healthcare Industry, and received more HIPPA training than I care to think about, I would disagree with the article. First, it addresses a rather narrow set of circumstances that do not apply to a person going door to door. Second, as PPI, it would have to been secured, as in lock and key secured. Yes, they can ask, no they can not compel you to reveal your status, and no, your status can not be revealed by your doctor or anyone else without your written permission.

Respectfully, you’re incorrect. Asking if you’re vaccinated and if you’d like a vaccine isn’t a hippa violation. For more reference, see below.
Additionally, if they ever came to your door, there’s no reason to be rude. Simply say “no thanks” and close the door.

Is it a HIPAA Violation to Ask for Proof of Vaccine Status?
According to several media sources, there appears to be a degree of confusion about the purpose of HIPAA, who it applies to, and whether asking someone if Can an employer ask an employee for proof of vaccine status or would that be in violation of HIPAA? Find out when asking about vaccine status is a HIPAA violation.

It certainly is to compel you to reveal any PPI, which, by definition is what they are talking about ... I'm not going to to play semantics or word games. Can they ask? Yes. Is it any of their business? No. Can they compel me to answer? An even more emphatic no. Last, but not least, the fact that everyone is dancing around, is that any government agency or group contracted by a government entity to collect said information is automatically subject to all HIPPA rules, not to mention ADA, EEOC and any one of several other alphabet soup regulations and agencies.
