I don't know the details of what is alleged. What I don't understand is why the killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and Rayshard Brooks are brought up in regard to the CDC. Public health and the disparate effects of COVID-19 on the African American community is worthy of looking at

Alright, I'll say it.
What the hell does the CDC or the climate in it have to with the killings of George Floyd, Arbery, et al?
It seems the central theme of the letter is to suggest that the culture of the organization discourages the careers of people of color.
Now I don't work for CDC, but I do work for the federal government, and if anything the culture is very supportive of persons of color. Presentations and classes along those lines are about as prevalent as they were in the Army.
I support any effort to gain and maintain equal opportunity, but I find this letter rather cryptic.
