Had to be a 35F....

Had to be 10th Mountain..

That said, she has rights and sometimes it feels like more rights than my brothers and sisters in harms way.

Irony.

SFC (Join to see) - We are obligated to care for a prisoner - like a child - but this kind of extraordinary medical care may not even make sense in few years. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - I agree, she has rights and deserves care. I would never blink an eye to either one of those points.

Meanwhile there are units that don't have funds to run a range, a war fighting function.

Priorities.

SFC (Join to see) - In all fairness . . . one must wonder why command failed to remove Manning's access to classified material when he/she started showing signs of a serious lack of good judgement / serious psychotic symptoms. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

Lawyers presented a hell of a good case that this is a Medical Necessity in Her Case and a Suicide attempt is definitely a way to emphasize it. It would be interesting if they would Xfer him from the Disciplinary Barracks here in Leavenworth to Miramar.

1LT Sandy Annala - You're telling me. I was a COMSEC Man like Walker. That bastard was handing over the Friggin Codes to the Russians, The Key to the Magic Kingdom. Every RM and CTO (Like Myself) had to be reinvestigated and reinterviewed by NIS after that. He negotiated with the Gov't like they all do after getting caught, No more than 25 years for his Son for him to tell everything he handed over. Also Michael had no trouble singing once he was caught. I did enjoy seeing the "Don't do this Movie, I did it and it is very Bad" that these young men do for us after they are caught. That is what knocks it down some more. Chris Boyce did several of those Public Service spots while he was in Marion Prison in Illinois.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I do think it was rather stupid to allow the Walkers to routinely accumulate piles of crypto material in their lockers - and remove them from ship when tied up in port. Maybe we could have done a bit more about physical security beyond simply trusting background checks and personnel security programs. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - I would say that the COMSEC Program was Vastly Improved after that. Made our jobs much harder.

Walker and his ilk were the key to making all of our jobs as hard as they SHOULD have been from the beginning. It was much to easy to do what they did because we were trusted to do the right thing by everyone in the chain from the bottom to the top. Trust is good in many things but not as much as we had in Crypto way back then. And yes I hated Walker and what he did to the Navy and our jobs!
