With the Military being talked about so much, and how proud we are, he screwed the pooch. What an idiot.

A lot of people have started to question this guy based on the image shown in the article. Personally, I cannot say what did or did not happen because I wasn't there. I just hope that Veterans take this as an example that if you are going to wear a uniform, do so with pride. Make sure you are on point and leave no room for question. We shouldn't have to fear being called out by some one or being denied something like a free meal from a restaurant because someone thinks a Veteran looks a certain way.

I don't see why this had to go this far if the man had on his person everything required to show and validate what he is. At the same time, I'm questioning why would you wear your cover indoors at a restaurant? You were in the military and should know that would be an instant reason for someone to "check" you on the spot.
"As Walker tells it, an elderly white man wearing a Donald Trump shirt approached him and said that he was in Germany and that blacks weren’t allowed to serve there. Walker, who is black, says he was wearing his old Army uniform"....the Soldier in question says he was in the 25th, so WTF is this old man talking about? Also if that old man was stationed in GE at any point, he'd know that Blacks WERE allowed to be stationed there, so again I'm lost. There are some red flags going off upstairs, but irregardless this was handled poorly by Chillis. Some old man tells you he's fake and you take his word for it, even after he shows you his paperwork?

SSG Warren Swan - Which part? The old man apologizing or getting his ass kicked? People who don't know need to stay out of someone else's business. I'm tired of vets getting the shaft.

SGT (Join to see) - the apology. He does deserve it, but if all it took was what he said to give this man hell like that, nothing would be done to right the wrong. As long as we remember, that Chills will wonder why no vets are coming there, and if the clown of a manager is still employed there, they might lose more business over the long haul. Some might say it's frivolous, but sue all three of them. Make them publicly responsible for what was done. Not much will change the mind of a business than the chance to loose a significant chunk of money on the MSM circuit. Make them pay the way they made him pay.

The manager needs to publicly apologize, and in my opinion Chili's should at least give the man a free meal for his immediate family.
