China’s Vision of Victory

Every time I see someone mention containment... of anything..... it makes my eyes roll to the back of my head. Its only effective with a major power against a minor power with few allies on its borders... to suggest so in today's world with the PRC is kind of underwhelming strategy that can not be made to work from the start for economic adversaries. But what the reviewer misses out on in that same paragraph... is some of the world is splitting from the believe the PRC will prevail. The chaos in our media - tends to skip over anything not in the beltway - and rarely wants to see anything positive. So what the US has done in SE Asia in the last 2 years.... is completely missed. Why would our own media not tell that perceptions changed due to the tarriffs? Lastly - any vision of victory for the PRC goes across the heart of Central Asia.. and to attempt to maintain that will likely cost the PRC its empire when they get sucked in.
