I smell the distinct odor of Hollywood rewriting history to denigrate the memory of a great man. Why would they? That's an easy one to answer, isn't it?

CPT Jack Durish, I thought "The Iron Lady", based on the life Margaret Thatcher was another botched effort. Hopefully, "Churchill" will be better.

LTC Stephen C. - From what I saw in the trailer it seems clear that this is a hatchet job

Look back to 16 years ago when Hollywood did in the last remake of History of the attack on Pearl Harbor where they made it more of a chick flick involving two guys wanting to go have a love triangle with the same nurse and make it Segway into thirty seconds over Tokyo short ending with a tragic loss of one of the men. Why don't I always ruin movies like that trying to kiss ass to females? It's not to try to make a good movie but to try to make some money.

It does look like a great movie. I've watched Gallipoli and later read up on it's background story. That was indeed a military blunder.
