Eric Schlosser wrote a book called Command and Control based on the declassified incident at Damascus, Arkansas in the 1980s. Now theaters and colleges are having free showings of the film around the states. I thought this was pretty interesting. LTC Stephen Conway - I remember the old "Zipper" line of ICBM's back and forth between Kansas and Missouri heading south. Probably one of the more significant influences for me to join the Military was my next door neighbor Carl Lewis who was the LOX Fueling Officer for those Missiles.
