The longer I am around the military, from enlisted army and air guard to 18yrs commissioned to Civil Air Patrol, the more I see the inability to find the sweet spot to being strong enough 'military' but not crazy is an issue. I have seen my fair share of overzealous Army personnel and just the other direction to lax USAF personnel.
