Congress strikes deal to avert a partial government shutdown — for now

It is disgusting that congress can't get together and work a budget. I've heard "Shutdown" so much in recent history that it doesn't even phase me any more. Compromise doesn't mean what it used to either. Both sides have to be willing to back off on budget issues for it to be a true compromise.
