Connecticut Submariner Haunted by Fateful Navy Orders Issued 58 years Ago

I reported to E&R New London in 1968 awaiting Sub School. There were many stories and many Thresher widows and family members still living in the area. So many stories and so many unfulfilled lives. It was hard to believe that one boat could have affected so many people in the area, but she had and so had the missing Sailors.

I am glad to see the Navy finally declassified 300 Pages of the Probe into the 1963 USS Thresher Disaster. Maybe some of the family members can rest easier with a few answers.
