We all this has happened many times and good guys with guns will continue to save people as long as they carry.

Growing up where I did, most young kids received most likely a .22 rifle. When I joined the army, there was a special kind of punishment for anyone who accidentally might drop their rifles. Those were guys who grew up in a gunless home.
