Tor is actually fairly secure...if you know what you're doing. This guy operated with impunity for weeks after the FBI knew he was running the site, because they had no way to find him until HE himself fucked up and let slip his IP address somehow (my guess is, he logged into the thing having forgotten to activate Tor. Or maybe he posted something drunk or some shit). You're correct about Tor's origin, of course.

SN Greg Wright - But where the law has to use the law to take him to court, it doesn't take the law to throw out the BS flag. I agree if you know, but knowing the military made it and who it was used by, makes it completely insecure. The very law that protected him, brought him down
